Terms and Conditions
Jersey Voucher provides a group buying and selling platform to individuals and businesses. Jersey Voucher is owned by JT Group Ltd, registered number 83487, having its principle place of business at 1 The Forum, Grenville Street, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8PB.
We would like to ensure that our customers get a quality experience. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel customer’s access to any of our services, if the account has been inappropriately used or in the event that the use of an account is adversely affecting the service level provided to our customers as a whole.
We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions when necessary. It is the subscriber’s responsibility to ensure that they are up to date with our Terms and Conditions. However, we will notify customers of any important changes we feel they need to be aware of. By signing up to any of our services, customers agree to be bound to all of our Terms and Conditions.
The Terms and Conditions are outlined below and apply to all users of this domain; jerseyvoucher.com and all sub-domains related to Jersey Voucher. If you have any enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have any queries regarding these terms and conditions please telephone 01534 882882 in Jersey or 01481 818152 in Guernsey, or contact JT via www.jtglobal.com.
To register for the Jersey Voucher service (‘The Service’) you must enter your name and e-mail on the website. By registering you are confirming that you are over eighteen (18) years old and that you will abide by these Terms and Conditions. During registration you will be asked for certain personal information so that an account can be created for your sole use.
The Service allows you to make an offer to buy a voucher for goods or services on the terms shown on the site. Following confirmation of payment, a binding contract is established between you and JT Group Ltd. for the voucher.
The contract for the purchase of the voucher is between you and JT Group Ltd, whereas the contract in relation to the supply of goods and/or services (‘The Deal’) is between you and the third parties offering those goods and/or services (‘The Merchant’). Any queries or concerns relating to the Deal should be addressed to the Merchant. You will see the name, address and contact details of the Merchant in the voucher.
The vouchers we supply through the service are evidence of payment for, and your entitlement to, the goods or services in question. Each voucher carries a unique serial number, which must be quoted when dealing with JT Group Ltd. or the Merchant. Vouchers and their associated references must be kept safely and securely. The voucher should be taken on the day when you wish to collect the goods or use the service in question, and must be surrendered to the Merchant or alternatively sent to the Merchant if requested to secure the booking. Once a voucher has been issued it cannot be exchanged or refunded and the unique voucher will be logged as redeemed by The Merchant within our system. NOTE: this does not affect your statutory rights.
Availability & Refunds
All offers for vouchers are also subject to availability of the goods or services in question, which is outside our control. If an offer for a voucher cannot be fulfilled for any reason, JT Group Ltd will promptly refund all monies paid within a 7 day period after the voucher purchase. JT Group Ltd reserves the right to undertake security checks and, if necessary, delay dispatch of the voucher. If the voucher was purchased over 7 days before the refund is requested then the refund is no longer the responsibility of JT Group Ltd but the responsibly of the Merchant.
Period of Validity
The Voucher is generally valid for a period of up to 3 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the deal page and voucher. After the expiry date shown on the voucher it will be deemed to be invalid. No liability will be accepted by JT Group Ltd or the Merchant.
You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
The purchase of a voucher by you will constitute consent to pass your credit or debit card to our payment processing provider. You undertake to us that the details you give us of your credit or debit card are correct, that the credit or debit card belongs to you and that there are sufficient funds to cover the price of the voucher. If there are any changes in your payment details it is your responsibility to inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Failure to supply the correct credit or debit card, billing address information and/or cardholder details may result in delay to the issue of your voucher. We also reserve the right to cancel vouchers if payment is declined or the incorrect cardholder and/or billing address have been supplied.
Vouchers are subject to restrictions which are detailed in the Fine Print. These restrictions are imposed by the Merchant and not by JT Group Ltd. By making a purchase you have confirmed that you have checked and accepted all of these, without exception. Details of these restrictions will be available on the deal and contained in the voucher.
Vouchers as a Gift
If you buy a voucher as a gift for someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase a gift voucher appropriate for the intended recipient and to double check that the restrictions are not prohibitive to them. If you are unsure of the suitability of any specific voucher then we recommend that you refer them to the Deal rather than make a purchase on their behalf.
Description of goods and services given in the Deal including details, format, conditions and restrictions are intended only to present an indication and shall not be considered binding. In particular, photographs are for illustrative purposes only and do not form part of any contract between you and JT Group Ltd. JT Group Ltd offers products and services from a wide number of Merchants and therefore cannot be held responsible for detailed description on the deal or the website of any Merchant or other third party.
Sales Tax (GST)
Unless specified otherwise, prices shown include sales Tax (GST). This has been added at the rates applicable on the day of purchase of the voucher.
JT Group Ltd will provide a refund of the purchase price paid by you for any Deal within seven days after the purchase of a voucher, provided that the voucher has not yet been redeemed. After seven days from the purchase date, refunds are the responsibly of the Merchant and any requests for a refund should be directed to them.
Any request for cancellation of a Jersey Voucher must be submitted by email to email@example.com where your request will be actioned promptly.
Resale of Vouchers
You may not re-sell the Service without the prior written consent of JT Group Ltd.
